Welcome to the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association of Toronto!
The Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association (CIBPA) has been in existence since 1952, and has earned an enviable reputation as the premier non-profit membership association that best represents the business and professional interests of Canadian-Italians in the Greater Toronto area.
Our mandate is to promote and cultivate the business, professional, cultural and social interests of our members, and to be the recognized lobbying voice of the Canadian-Italian community at large. We continue to be the pre-eminent forum for the exchange of ideas and viewpoints, and are focused on the development of business and professional contacts beyond the simple practice of exchanging business cards.
Our membership is comprised of the broadest spectrum of the most significant Canadian-Italian leaders in the business and professional community, including business owners, entrepreneurs, senior partners, executives, and designated professionals, as well as students.
We already provide thematic dinner meetings, special events and functions, support an education fund, and encourage promotional opportunities for members. Our vision for the future is to continue to build on our mentorship program, be recognized as a communications portal, expand our resources as a resource centre, and continue to grow as a business incubator.
The CIBPA also looks at building on its rich traditions by welcoming the contributions of working with other community-based organizations to develop further business and professional opportunities for its members, and by forming strategic alliances and producing joint ventures when possible.
CIBPA Toronto is the founding member of the National Federation of CIBPAs, now proudly encompassing chapters throughout Canada.
