G20 YEA PRE-SUMMIT RECEPTION
On September 24th, CIBPA Toronto and Futurprenuer hosted a private event showcasing incredible entrepreneurial talent in Canada and Italy.
Every year, in the lead up to this G20 Summit, young entrepreneurs representing G20 countries gather in the host country to explore business opportunities in market and discuss policies that will foster young entrepreneurial growth. With this in mind, we will be gathering this September to celebrate this year's Italian Summit and our Canadian delegation of young entrepreneurs, providing them with an enthusiastic send off. As the leading business voice of the Italian Canadian community, the CIBPA looks forward to co-hosting this important event with Futurpreneur Canada and the G20 YEA to celebrate young entrepreneurs from throughout the G20 gathering in Milan, this October.
The G2OYEA is a global network of thousands of young entrepreneurs and the organisations that support them. We have been established to convene each year in advance of the G20 Summit to champion the importance of young entrepreneurs as drivers of economic growth, innovation and social change to the G20 member nations, and to share our own examples and practices. The annual G20 YEA Summit brings together hundreds of the world's top young entrepreneurs and offers them a critical opportunity to advance their businesses, make international connections and explore international growth in G20 countries.
The G20 YEA is made up of organizations from the participating G20 countries, including Futurpreneur Canada, a founding member of the G2OYEA that leads the Canadian delegation. Futurpreneur Canada has been fueling the entrepreneurial passions of Canada's young enterprise since 1996. They provide financing, mentoring and support tools to young entrepreneurs aged 18-39 who are looking to launch their own business. Over the past 25 years, Futurpreneur has helped launch over 14,000 new businesses across the country.
The CIBPA is the business voice of the Italian-Canadian community and a major business association in Canada, providing leadership to all member Chapters and constituent members across the country on debates of national economic importance. The CIBPA is the leading Italian-Canadian business and professional association in Canada.
This event will showcase the incredible entrepreneurial talent here in Canada and in Italy, we also want to celebrate Canada's close and historic relationship with Italy and the strong bond within the Italian-Canadian business community.
